Busy Bee…….

I have been so busy lately with spring, getting gardens ready for veggies and flowers, painting, landscaping, and tons of projects.

This is one of my most recent projects, a fairy house for my grand daughters. There was this old rotten tree stump along the edge of the pond. Tired of looking at it I decided one day to make it into a fairy house. I collected things on the ranch, scrap wood, plumbing pipe, sticks, moss and hardware.

I finished it in two days and it was about two weeks before the grand daughters discovered it. So thrilled they were speechless. They are a bit miffed that they can’t get the door opened, I screwed it shut. They don’t understand why the fairies lock the door….

Daddy-daughter dance

Gods gifts to a grand mother bring laughter, love, hugs, and secrets. Last night was the daddy-daughter dance. The six and nine-year old have waited all year to do it all again. What fun and wonder was had last year dancing with daddy. Unfortunately the six-year-old had and upset stomach and couldn’t go. Heartbroken she donned her beautiful glittered party dress and climbed into her bed.

Little did she know there was a beautiful, long,  white limo parked in the drive awaiting the two young princesses. Daddy called her friend and the friend’s father to join them on the ride. The young ladies had a storybook evening with a beautiful dinner in an upscale restaurant and a Cinderella type ball where they danced till exhausted. Feeling bad for the younger sister they left the ball, stopped at a convenience store and bought her a plastic princess crown with jewels. When they arrived home she was feeling a bit better so she put on her crown and went riding in her pajamas around town in the beautiful white limo.
